The Princeton
The Princeton, with its classic beauty and architectural charm from 1922, was designed to honor its rich legacy while infusing a minimalist interpretation of old-world European style. The homeowners’ affinity for neutrals, soft textures, and natural materials enhanced the home’s original character seamlessly.
Spanning four levels, including a two-story addition housing the dining area and primary bathroom, we preserved the home’s classic lines to improve flow and function for this family of six. Each child’s bedroom reflects their individual personality, featuring playful elements like floral wallpaper and painted muted trim that balance elegance and charm.
Meticulous cabinetry complements the home’s sophistication, ensuring no element feels overly ornate or fussy. Each detail is purposeful, enhancing the home’s beauty with a sense of richness and serenity. While some areas embrace a moodier palette, the overall ambiance remains light and airy, enriched by curated hardware and lighting. Sourcing both vintage and new pieces added soulfulness and personality, creating a space that embodies a quiet luxury that feels both tailored and inviting—true to the homeowners’ style.
